Don't worry, this thread has nothing to do with nazis! Storm troopers actually are a type of soldier.
I suggest we incorperate small groups of elite soldiers into our armed forces to attack enemy positions and try and knock out their defences ahead of the main assault. Obviously the actual word storm trooper has certain emotional baggage, so perhaps call them something different like the Royal Rifles.
I have been lead to believe that when elite troops are used in an OrBat they are worth a cetain number of infantry depending on their eliteness. Do you think we should go for this concept or continue with the basic soldiers?

I like the idea of having a few hundred of them to use in special operations like England used the SAS. Royal Rifles sounds good too, the RR . I say we go for it

Special operations would be their main purpose. Behind ememy lines and all that. If there are no objections by next week we shall move ahead.

I still like this idea, it will make the main attack easier if the defenders are dead before they get there

Obviously the lack of opposition is a distinct advantage. What should we call our storm troopers?
