This reminds me a bit of the military treaty imposed on Japan after WWII, wherein they could only maintain a defensive force. It also reminds me of Costa Rica, which hasn't had a standing military since 1949.
What type of forces/armament did you have in mind to go along with this? And what time period is the military set in here?

The military will be modern outside of roleplay. Basically we'll have modern ships, destroyers etc, aircraft, fighters and intercepters, and ground forces but no ICBM's or anything such as that. We'll be fully protected with all the modern weaponry, but we won't have enough to wage a major offencive. We'll need enough to defend Bosworth, the two river colonies and the assosiated waterways, and Gascony.
Also if Bosworthian citizens are abroad our forces should have the capacity to help them if it's required.

Oh yes please do, I've just noticed I hadn't previously commented on this, I do apologise. Shold a basic map be drawn up to show where abouts the main bulk of our troops are, of course only shaded in areas not dots and such.

Well make it a decree or something then sire . We could do a garrison list i suppose, if I were to edit the old maps to include more cities/towns we could then add defence forces bases to it.

I will go make it a decree but should we give the doctrine a name other than 'Military Doctrine'?. Something catchy which can stand out in the micronational community.

Oh god no, what about 'The Hart Doctrine'. Ryan, Harts both mine and Jeremy's surname (Micronationaly).
