Constitution of the Kingdom of Bosworth
Preamble
The Kingdom of Bosworth, or henceforth referred to as Bosworth, has laid down this Constitution to show all citizens and foreigners what makes up Bosworth. This constitution cannot be amended without consent of the King, and even with the King’s consent to amendmentation, the King himself must approve any amendments before they are official. Misuse of this document is punishable by banishment from Bosworth or, depending on the severity, legal action.
Article 1 – The People of Bosworth
1. The People of Bosworth are divided into three levels:
2. The first level is Citizen. This is for the masses; everyone in the nation starts out here.
3. The second level is Member of the Advisory Board. These people are direct advisors and helpers to the King, and can be likened to appointed Ministers.
4. The third level is Royalty. These are members of the Royal Family, such as King, Queen, Crown Prince etc.
5. Respect goes upward: citizens pay respect to the Members of the Advisory Board and the King and the Members of the Advisory Board pay respect to the King.
6. All citizens can defend themselves from verbal or physical attacks from foreigners or citizens in terms of discrimination about race, accent, physical features, sexual orientation etc.
7. All citizens have the responsibility to stand trial if they are arrested by the Royal Police and the right to such a trial.
Article 2 – The Royalty of Bosworth
1. The Royalty of Bosworth are the highest ranking citizens in Bosworth and as such expect to be respected by all citizens.
2. The Royalty of Bosworth includes the King, his family and any loyal citizens of Bosworth the King deems fit to gain the rank of Royalty.
3. The King of Bosworth oversees all activities and projects in Bosworth, directly or indirectly.
4. If the King does not approve of an activity or project in Bosworth it will be expected to shut down within a week of notice.
5. If this activity of project does not shut down within the allocated week, the Royal Police will be called in to stop it by force for the good of the people.
6. The Royalty of Bosworth command the Royal Police, an institution designed for the good of the people to be the arm of the Royalty of Bosworth.
7. The Royalty of Bosworth is advised by the Members of the Advisory Board.
Article 3 – The Advisory Board and the Members thereof
1. The Advisory Board is the organization drawn up by the King to allow a certain number of citizens to act as his personal advisors and helpers.
2. Members of the Advisory Board are due respect from other citizens.
3. Members of the Advisory Board often take up certain projects on behalf of the King – such as Head of the Royal Police – and when they do they act as the Voice of the King in their certain area.
4. Members of the Advisory Board are appointed by the King and only the King has the authority to appoint citizens to that post.
5. Members of the Advisory Board may only be deposed by the King, and remain Members of the Advisory Board until the King asks them to step down from their position(s).
6. The King may, if he wishes, appoint a Chancellor of the Advisory Board out of the Members of the Advisory Board.
7. The Chancellor’s assignment is to keep order in the Advisory Board and to ensure all Members do their jobs properly.
8. The Chancellor can only be appointed and deposed by the King, just as with other Members of the Advisory Board.
Article 4 – Forum Decorum
1. Swearing is not allowed on the forums – although this you shouldn’t really worry about, as the main ones are already censored.
2. Insulting the King or the other members of the Royalty is not permitted.
3. Insulting Members of the Advisory Board is not permitted unless such slander can be backed up with evidence.
4. Citizens should try to keep threads relevant, although this is not strictly enforced. Also, when a citizen or foreigner posts a new thread, he or she should try to post this thread in the correct board and category.
Signed,
His Royal Majesty King Edward I
