Woah! This got a bit crazy for a second there....in my view the immigration situation is more of a problem than the religion situation, i think i saw on tv that the population is going to reach 70 million by 2024...or something like that

Yes, immigration is likely to be a touchy subject at the next election. Hopefully that means labour have no hope because they're never going to agree to limit immigration

Problem is we might end up Conservative that way... or worse, BNP. There is truly no right way to vote.

If we had a few BNP MPs it would scare the hell out of the mainstream parties so they'll change their ways because they'll see what the public mood is like

Yes, this sort of thing has been seen countless times before in history... when things are bad, or are made to look bad, people look further and further to the extremes of the political spectrum... in Britain, this seems to predominately turn out filling us with more and more Right-Wing public than Left-wing, and I think that has something to do with our traditional history. Though these days, with pretty much every week reporting a new stabbing, things are getting worse and that tradition is deteriorating - or, perhaps, so the conservatives want us to believe?

The tabloids are worse than the conservatives whom you so needlessly demonise. The government want us to think everything is fine, thinking we're stupid enough to believe it

I'm affraid it's a requirement for all female British PMs to know how to drive a tank

I'll see what can be done regarding the tank. Edit: I agree with you on the Tabloids, Edward. Sure, there is an incredibly valuable element of a free press; that is, we have access to the truth. However, we get bogged down in crud, and the Press are vultures... they can often put good people through hell needlessly, for example the beloved Princess Diana.

Heather Mcartney (bad spelling) was, for once, right when she said the press should stop insulting everyone. Most of the tabloids, and even some tv news channels, make up the news rather than reporting it

On our Britsh news today (Sorry to keep talking about the UK Harald as i'm vaguely aware you don't live here) they were comparing our military spending with Poland as a reason not to raise ours. Do the fools not realise that poland doesnt have a navy and never uses it's army and therefore needs less money for armed forces? I honestly think the press think we're all idiots
