Your Majesty, I would like to propose the creation of a system of honours for our citizens and foreigners who've contributed to our nation. Therefore i present you with the following list of suggestions:
The George Cross: the highest military honour for conspicuous bravery in the presence of the enemy. This medal would consist of a silver cross capped with a royal crown and St George and the dragon in the centre. The words "For valour and gallantry" encircle St George and the dragon and the medal hangs from a purple ribbon. The award is named after St George in recognition of that Saints valour in the face of the dragon. Only members of the Bosworthian armed forces are eligable to recieve this honour.
The Cross of St Edmund: the highest civilian award for acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger. The medal consists of a bronze cross in the centre of which a lion sits encircled by the words "For gallantry". The award hangs from a dark blue ribbon. This honour, availible only to Bosworthian citizens, is named after St Edmund in recognition of that Saints courage in standing by moral convictions.
The Most Distinguished Order of St Joan and St Jean: the highest honour availible to foreigners and Bosworthians; the order is for those individuals who have shown distinction in their services to Bosworth, the wider community or humanity as a whole. The medal itself consists of a circular piece of bronze bearing the image of St Christopher encircled by the words "God calls me" and hangs on a white ribbon with diagnal purple stripes.
